Power flush your boiler regularly with Arco

Power flushing is a fast and effective way to remove sludge and fragments, such as corrosion deposits and scale in heating systems, which builds up over time. It is recommended that boilers and central heating systems are flushed regularly to keep them working optimally.​

Do have a faulty boiler?

If you have any of these symptoms it could mean that your boiler system needs power flushing. By having your system flushed you eliminate the accumulated lime scale, rust and any other debris that builds up in your central heating system. Even a partially blocked system can put a lot of pressure on the boiler.

​How does a power flush work?​

Power flushing is a fast and effective way to remove sludge, corrosion deposits and scale in heating systems, which builds up over time.

​A power-flushing pump is connected to the heating system. Water is then pumped through at high speed, in both directions, to mobilise and remove the deposits that are sitting in your pipes.

Our engineers will also individually flush out your radiators, leaving your whole system with fresh clean water. At the end of the flush, a chemical corrosion inhibitor will be left in the system to prevent further corrosion.

When systems have been neglected for long periods of time, some radiators may still not be fully effective even after a power flush. Very occasionally boilers may fail at a later stage due to debris breaking loose and collecting in the heat exchanger. Our engineers will advise you if they notice anything untoward during the power flush.
